Hales bar dam, filled with so much history and so much more hidden in the darkness..

so many tragic events took place here, homes destroyed, & lives lost. the first time i learned about this place and got to explore it was at the age of 12. i was so fascinated and amazed about the history and souls who still lingered.. years later; totally forgotten abt this gem and then got to explore it again a couple years ago, even got to stay the night for my 21st bday!:) (i’m 23 now) i have so many stories i could tell from the history of the land and the different stories in different rooms. i even have a personal ghost stories of my own:)
