My OCs if they were in Persona 5 part 1+2

Hey everyone! I'm so thrilled to share more details about my Persona 5 Original Characters (OCs) that I've been sketching out. It's so much fun imagining how new Phantom Thieves would fit into the P5 universe, and I've poured a lot of thought into their designs and backstories. First up is Zumorito Hughes, codenamed Whiskers. When I was thinking about 'japanese oc ideas' for Persona 5, I really wanted to blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with the edgy, modern vibe of the game. Whiskers' mask is a prime example – it's a sleek, cat-like design with clear Japanese style inspiration, and that little spot on the left ear is a subtle nod to her tendency to avoid deep relationships. Her Tarot Arcana is the 'Tower,' which really speaks to her journey of breaking down old structures and beliefs. For her Persona, I chose Tomoe Gozen. She's a legendary female warrior from 'The Tale of the Heike,' known for her incredible strength and courage, which perfectly encapsulates Whiskers' inner power when she's fighting for justice. Designing her costume, I envisioned something agile and stealthy, perfect for a Phantom Thief who uses clever tactics. Next, we have Venganza Richards, whose codename is GNR (short for Guns and Roses, a little personal touch I added!). His design was all about making a bold, unforgettable statement. The 'Emperor' Tarot Arcana fits him perfectly, reflecting his commanding presence and perhaps a touch of his own ego. His mask is truly unique – a fusion of a skull and a traditional Mexican wrestler mask, which gives him this intimidating yet theatrical appearance. It’s part of his whole 'descripción del vestuario' (costume description) that screams larger-than-life. For his Persona, I picked Caligula, a real-world Roman emperor known for his controversial and often sadistic rule. This choice adds a darker, more complex layer to GNR, hinting at the kind of shadows he might be fighting within himself or in his Palace. Creating these OCs, I often get asked, 'what is an oc?' or 'how do you come up with unique oc ideas?' For me, it starts with a core personality and a clear theme. Then, I think about how that personality would manifest as a Phantom Thief – what kind of mask, what color scheme, and most importantly, what kind of Persona would represent their rebellious spirit. Don't be afraid to pull from history, mythology, or even pop culture for inspiration, just like I did with Tomoe Gozen and Caligula! If you're looking for 'ocs to draw' or 'scenarios to put your ocs in,' try sketching out different poses that reflect their personality, or imagine them in iconic Persona 5 moments. How would Whiskers infiltrate a Palace with her stealth? How would GNR confront a Shadow with his flamboyant style? Thinking about these 'examples of ocs' in action really brings them to life. And remember, sometimes the simplest comic art styles can be the most effective for getting your ideas down quickly in a sketchbook! I'm already thinking about the 'NEXT PART WILL BE STATUO DESIGN + PERSONA' for these two, diving deeper into their Personas' forms and abilities.
