🐕🦺 The Hero Guide Dog of 9 / 11
🐕🦺 The hero guide dog of 9 / 11.
The silent courage that took one life out of hell.
On the morning of September 11, 2001, the world faced a major tragedy in the attack on the World Trade Center.
In the midst of the chaos, there is an extremely powerful little story.
Michael Hingson, a blind man by birth, works on the 78th floor of the North Tower.
What survived him was not a weapon, not a uniform hero.
It's "trust" between him and a guide dog named Roselle.
On a day when explosions, smoke and panic covered every floor,
Roselle remained calm, focused and stable.
She took Michael down a dozen floors of fire escape.
With a steady pace among thousands of people on the run.
Michael and Roselle left the building just minutes before the building collapsed.
Later, this story may never have been told.
After the incident, Roselle continued his guide dog duties for years to come.
And Michael relayed the whole incident in the book.
Thunder Dog
Which became an inspiration to people around the world.
Sometimes heroes don't have to make a sound.
Just stand honest... can take a life out of the dark.
