... Read moreTraveling across the United States has been a fascinating journey that opened my eyes to the country's cultural diversity and natural beauty. Having visited 18 states so far—including spots like Washington, New York, Texas, and Florida—each place brought unique experiences and memories.
One thing I’ve learned is that every state has its own charm, from scenic landscapes to bustling cities. For example, exploring Washington provided lush forests and beautiful coastlines, while New York’s vibrant city life was an exciting contrast. On the other hand, states like Texas and Florida offered warm climates and rich historical sites.
Planning these trips also taught me the importance of pacing and flexibility. I usually prioritize places with iconic landmarks or natural parks to maximize the experience. It’s helpful to research local customs and must-see spots beforehand, which makes the adventure smoother and more enriching.
I’m excited to keep track of the remaining 32 states I have yet to explore. My goal is to see more hidden gems beyond the usual tourist paths, perhaps visiting less busy states like Nebraska or South Dakota, which often surprise travelers with their unique attractions.
Traveling has also helped me connect with new people and cultures along the way, which adds a personal layer to every visit. For anyone looking to explore the US, I recommend creating a list of states you want to visit and gradually ticking them off while savoring the local flavor and environment each one offers.
Overall, visiting 36% of the US states so far has been rewarding, and sharing this journey encourages others to embrace the adventure of discovering new places right in their own country.
