ในชีวิตประจำวันที่ทุกคนต่างมีเป้าหมายและความตั้งใจที่อยากประสบความสำเร็จ การรักษาคำพูดกับตัวเองถือเป็นพื้นฐานที่สำคัญมาก เพราะหากเราพูดแล้วไม่ทำตามที่ตั้งใจไว้ จะส่งผลให้ความน่าเชื่อถือที่เรามีต่อตัวเองค่อยๆ ลดลงเรื่อยๆ ผมเองเคยเผชิญกับช่วงเวลาที่พูดกับตัวเองว่าจะเริ่มเก็บเงินหรือจะฝึกเทรดอย่างมีระบบ แต่สุดท้ายกลับไม่ทำตามนั้นจริงๆ ซึ่งทำให้ลดความมั่นใจในตัวเองอย่างมาก สิ่งที่ผมได้เรียนรู้คือ การฝืนทำตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้แม้ยากในตอนแรก จะช่วยสร้างวินัยและความเชื่อมั่นในตัวเอง ทั้งนี้ผมเริ่มจากการตั้งเป้าหมายเล็กๆ เช่น การตั้งแผน ‘จะหยุดเทรดเมื่อขาดทุนถึงจำนวนหนึ่ง’ หรือ ‘จะเก็บเงินอย่างน้อยวันละ 100 บาท’ ทำให้ไม่รู้สึกกดดันจนเกินไปและสามารถทำตามได้จริง อีกเรื่องที่สำคัญในการเทรดคือ การเชื่อระบบเทรดที่วางไว้ หากเมื่อใดที่เราฝืนแผนเทรดเพื่อแก้มือหรือทำตามอารมณ์ มันก็เสี่ยงที่จะสูญเสียมากขึ้น นั่นหมายความว่า การรักษาคำพูดกับตัวเองไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยในเรื่องวินัยชีวิตประจำวัน แต่ยังส่งผลต่อความสำเร็จด้านการลงทุนด้วย สุดท้าย สิ่งที่เติมเต็มความสำเร็จของผมคือการย้ำกับตัวเองอยู่เสมอว่า “อย่าพูดเยอะ แต่ถ้าพูดแล้ว ต้องลงมือทำ” เพราะตัวตนและอนาคตที่มั่นคงของเรา มาจากสิ่งที่เราทำซ้ำเป็นประจำ ไม่ใช่แค่ความคิดหรือคำพูดเพียงอย่างเดียว ผมมองว่าใครที่อยากเริ่มต้นมีวินัย สามารถใช้บัญชีทดลองเทรดเหมือนที่ผมเคยใช้ ซึ่งช่วยลดความกดดันและเป็นพื้นที่ปลอดภัยให้ฝึกฝนฝีมือและวินัยได้ดีทีเดียว
