#NoBuy2025
We have budgeting, savings, and income goals this year. I grew up in a low income household so when I started making money, my priority was always to just BUY it!
I was able to have everything I wanted growing up and I no longer wanted to feel that. I wanted to be able to get what I want, when I wanted without thinking about what was in the bank.
This worked out until COVID happened. Then when my mindset needed to switch so I can still enjoy the things I want while saving and paying bills, I just couldn’t do it. I would still spend, spend, spend!!!!
This year I’m being more intentional with money. Here’s how. . .
Household:
* Only buy household products when needed
* Nomore decor or house plants until spring
* Only buy groceries when needed
(Plan meals based on groceries you have)
Shopping:
* Absolutely nomore clothes until summer
* Buy items to replace items ONLY
* NO MAKEUP/SKINCARE (only samples/pr)
* Stay off Amazon, Temu, & Afterpay (LOL)
Extra:
* One Restaurant a month
* One Extra activity a month
* Cancel subscriptions you don’t use regularly
