... Read moreOkay, fellow snack enthusiasts, let me tell you, when I first heard about Taco Bell collaborating with Milk Bar for new Birthday Cake Churros, my heart skipped a beat! As someone who loves both sweet treats and Taco Bell's unique offerings, this limited-time offering was an absolute must-try for me. It’s not every day you see such an iconic fast-food chain team up with a gourmet bakery famous for its innovative desserts. Milk Bar, known for its iconic Birthday Cake and Cereal Milk creations, brings a certain level of pastry magic to this partnership. I was so curious to see how their signature birthday cake flavor would translate into a classic Taco Bell churro. You know, the kind of churro that's typically just cinnamon-sugar goodness. From the promotional images I'd seen, featuring the distinct Milk Bar and Taco Bell logos on a branded box, these weren't just any ordinary churros; they were designed to be a celebration. I managed to snag a box right after they launched. The presentation was spot on – they came in a neat white box, and inside, two generously sized churros were nestled, adorned with plenty of colorful sprinkles. It definitely felt like a party in a box! I even took a moment to admire them, holding one up to get a good look at those vibrant sprinkles before taking my first bite, right there inside my car. Now, for the taste test. The churro itself had that familiar crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside texture we all love. What really sets these apart is the birthday cake white filling. It's creamy and sweet, definitely reminiscent of Milk Bar's classic birthday cake flavor, with that hint of vanilla and subtle tang. However, I have to agree with my initial thought: I really wished there was more of that delicious white filling! It's good, but a little extra would have made it absolutely perfect, really elevating the “birthday cake churro” experience to another level. If you're wondering if these are worth trying, especially since they're a limited-time offering, I'd say yes! They're a fun, unique dessert that stands out from typical fast-food sweets. While they might not replace my all-time favorite discontinued Taco Bell desserts, they certainly offer a fresh change. They're a step up from their regular churros, if you're a fan of those, or even the popular Cinnabon Delights. It’s a great way to experience a gourmet touch in a convenient fast-food setting. So, if you get the chance to grab these Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros from Taco Bell, don't hesitate! They're a delightful little treat that brings a bit of celebratory joy to your day. Just manage your expectations on the frosting-to-churro ratio, and you're in for a sweet surprise!
