Summoning Buddha into a simple new home

Something to prepare.

1. Prepare a place of worship:

Prepare a monk's room or monk's shelf for setting up Buddhas, with flowers, incense, candles, and savory food.

2. Prepare offerings:

Provide rice, dried food, fruit, and auspicious Thai snacks.

3. Prepare money:

Prepare money in a belt, or red envelope, as a gift.

Monk Summons Procedure

1. Give thanks to:

Start by paying homage to you in front of the house for permission to bring the sacred things into the house.

2. Chants for:

Recite Namo 3, finish, and say a request, such as, "Ramataye, Paamatena, Dwaratayena, Kathang, Apatang, Kaamatu, No Bhante."

3. Say the summons:

"Namo Tassa, Bhagavato, Arahto, Samma Sam Buddha," 3 ends, and then says the summons: "Please summon the Buddha, the Buddha, the Buddha, the Buddha, the Buddha, and the Buddha, please come here for the glory of me and my family."

4. Invite the monk into the house:

Let the oldest person in the house be the first summoner of Buddha into the house. Our mother is the summoner for Sirim.

5. Offering Jensen:

Bring rice, dried food, auspicious fruit, sweet savory food, flowers, incense, candles and place them on the table of worship.

6. Pray for blessings:

Light candle incense, pray for family peace, prosperity and protection.
