Summoning Sickness and Spacecrafts

This rule is designed to prevent players from dropping a powerful creature and attacking immediately, giving opponents a chance to react. This is the core of 'what is summoning sickness mtg' – it's about creatures entering the battlefield. Here's where the confusion often starts with artifacts. A regular artifact, like a Mana Crypt or a Sol Ring, doesn't get summoning sickness because it's not a creature.
