Embracing change isn’t always bad
All my life since I was 15 I had been building walls around what I could and couldn’t do. It’s been a journey breaking those limitations I created and others also put on me. Like I mentioned before it’s been a work in progress, and sometimes I’ve pushed myself too far but I’ve learned that even if it breaks me I come back up stronger. I’m decided to be the best version of me I can be.
Embracing change can often feel intimidating, especially when we have spent years building mental walls around what we believe we can or cannot do. From my own experience, starting at the age of 15, these invisible barriers were both self-imposed and enforced by others’ expectations. It was a slow and sometimes painful process to dismantle these walls, but it was essential for personal growth. One key lesson I've learned is that pushing myself beyond comfort sometimes results in setbacks or failures, but these experiences are not the end. In fact, they serve as pivotal moments that build resilience. Each time I fell, I found the strength to get up, learn from what broke me, and move forward with renewed determination. This cycle has taught me that change, even when difficult, is a powerful catalyst for becoming a stronger and more authentic version of myself. For anyone struggling with embracing change, it helps to view challenges not as permanent failures but as opportunities to redefine limits and expand your possibilities. Accepting change means accepting growth, and growth often requires stepping into the unknown and breaking down the walls that keep us confined. Through this ongoing process, I've developed a mindset that values progress over perfection, and courage over comfort. Sharing this journey is a reminder that no matter how deeply ingrained our limitations may be, it's never too late to start rebuilding and reshaping our lives. Embracing change is a continuous work in progress, but one that ultimately leads to empowerment, self-discovery, and a richer, more fulfilling life.
