Band History (System Of Da Down)

System of a Down, often abbreviated as SOAD or System, is an Armanian-American rock band from Glendale, California, founded in 1994. Many of its members are of Armenian descent, but some were born in Lebanon. Daron is the only one born on the United States. All of its members are relatives in Iraq, Lebanon, Iran.

The band has been famous since its creation. The band released five studio albums that sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. It was also nominated for four Grammy Awards, which they won for Best Hard Rock Song. In 2006, the band temporarily dispersed before reuniting in 2010.

In September 3, 2001, the soad planned to hold a concert in Hollywood as a thank you to music fans. The concert will take place in a parking area with about 3,500 fans, but the music fans exceeded the required number. The police officer canceled the concert in advance without telling the music fans who had been waiting for almost an hour.

When the security guard removed the band's name tag on stage, a disgruntled music fan rioted, which took nearly six hours to return to peace. Damage ranged from police being thrown by stones, windows of nearby buildings being broken, moving toilets breaking down, some music fans being arrested.

The manager said that this would not happen if the police asked the band to play or apologized to the music fans for cancelling the show. The result of this riot forced the next day's CD concert to be canceled by default.

Until the band decided to release Steal! This album, whose cover was reminiscent of the printing disc, and also released fifty thousand special covers, each CD not the same, but each member of the band would draw. The album was released in September 2002.

The album's title was inspired by Abbie Hoffman's thief movie This Book, as well as an incident in which the band's songs were released for download on the Internet as incomplete songs. The innervision song was the debut song of the album, and the MV Boom! was directed by Michael Moore, who directed a documentary called Kong to oppose the war against Iraq, which made it another band that sang politics, general life, drugs until it was watched by the FBI and CIA.

Many of the verses that Abang sings, "Father, into your hands I commend my spirit," are from one of the seven words that Jesus said before he died, a song that is called very famous, with a cover version and a variety of parodies.

Another song, Lost in Hollywood, is a song Daron wrote about his life's experiences growing up in a Hollywood neighborhood where everyone wants to live, and he says, "Are you crazy?"
