Penang Accommodation Review - Apple Hotel Times Square (George Town)
This trip we stayed at Apple Hotel Times Square in Georgetown. It is very convenient to travel near the eating-and-traveling area. It is easy to travel in the city.

✔️ Check-in procedure
We can get there around 1: 00 and walk into the check-in counter.
Just say, "We have a booking," and then file a picture of the booking page cap to the employee.
When booking, use our name. When you check in, the employee will check your passport and give you all the details. Don't worry about the language, because he has a document to explain in Thai. Very good!
Pay 100 RM deposit (cash) - will be returned at checkout
And pay tourist tax of RM2 / person

Sleeping very comfortably like waking up, still confused why the bed is so comfortable. 😂

If you want to travel before you return, you can check out before noon and leave your luggage in the lobby.

ใครกำลังหา Apple Hotel Penang หรือเล็ง Apple Hotel Times Square ไว้ แต่ยังลังเลเรื่องทำเล/การเช็คอิน/ความคุ้มค่า เราขอเสริมรายละเอียดจากที่เจอจริง เผื่อช่วยตัดสินใจได้ง่ายขึ้นค่ะ เรื่อง “เช็คอิน 24 ชั่วโมง” หลายคนค้นหาเยอะมาก (โดยเฉพาะคนถึงดึกหรือไฟลต์เช้า) แนะนำให้เช็กกับโรงแรมอีกครั้งก่อนเดินทาง เพราะแต่ละช่วงอาจมีนโยบายต่างกัน วันเราไปถึงช่วงบ่ายเลยไม่มีปัญหา แต่ข้อดีคือขั้นตอนเช็คอินของที่นี่ค่อนข้างตรงไปตรงมา แค่เตรียมรูปแคปหน้าการจองในมือถือ + พาสปอร์ต และเงินสดไว้สำหรับมัดจำ 100 ริงกิต (ได้คืนตอนเช็คเอาท์) รวมถึงภาษีนักท่องเที่ยว 2 ริงกิต/คน แล้วแจ้งพนักงานว่า “We have a booking” ก็เรียบร้อย ที่ชอบคือมีเอกสารอธิบายเป็นภาษาไทย ทำให้คนที่ไม่ถนัดภาษาอังกฤษสบายใจขึ้นมาก เรื่องทำเล: โรงแรมอยู่โซน George Town ที่เดินทางสะดวก เหมาะกับคนที่อยากเน้น “กิน-เที่ยวในเมือง” แบบไม่ต้องเสียเวลานั่งรถไกล ๆ ตอนกลางคืนก็ยังรู้สึกอุ่นใจ เพราะรอบ ๆ เป็นย่านที่มีคนและอาคารเยอะ (วิวเมืองจากโรงแรมก็ประมาณนี้เลย) ใครแพลนเที่ยวแบบวันเดียวหลายที่ การอยู่ในเมืองช่วยเซฟเวลาได้จริง เรื่องห้องพักที่หลายคนอยากรู้: ของเราให้คะแนนความสบายสูงมาก เตียงนุ่มแบบนอนแล้วไม่อยากลุก แอร์เย็นฉ่ำ ห้องน้ำกว้างและใช้งานดี มีเครื่องทำน้ำอุ่น กระจก ไดร์เป่าผม และอ่างอาบน้ำ (เราเอาบาธบอมบ์ไปแช่ สนุกมาก) ในห้องยังมีพื้นที่ใช้สอยเยอะพอสมควร มีชั้นวางไม้ใหญ่ ๆ วางของได้จุใจ เหมาะกับสายแบกของ/ชอบจัดของให้เป็นระเบียบ อีกจุดที่ช่วยคนเดินทางต่อ: ถ้าต้องเช็คเอาท์ก่อนเที่ยงแต่ยังอยากเที่ยวต่อ สามารถฝากกระเป๋าไว้ที่ล็อบบี้ได้ พนักงานจะพาไปเก็บในห้องฝากของ ทำให้ไม่ต้องลากกระเป๋าไปทั้งวัน ทริคเล็ก ๆ ก่อนเข้าพัก: แลกเงินริงกิตเป็น “แบงก์ย่อย” ไว้บ้างจะจ่ายมัดจำ/ภาษีง่ายขึ้น และถ่ายรูปหลักฐานการจองเก็บไว้เผื่อเน็ตไม่เสถียรค่ะ
