The Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.

I woke up at five in the morning with thousands of Buddhists waiting to worship Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi in Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka.

I have completed the mission of this trip. Perfect. I am very happy to fulfill my dreams and intentions after the Buddha Ya trip.

This place is not just a thousand-year-old ancient site, but the spiritual heart of Buddhists around the world. The Sri Maha Bodhi tree in the foreground is descended from the Bodhi tree that Buddha enlightened at Buddha and was summoned to Sri Lanka by the Diocese Mitta Theri more than 2,300 years ago.

In botany and international history, this tree has been recorded as a world record by Guinness World Records as "the oldest human-planted tree in the world still alive," with evidence and historical records in the annals consistently supporting it, never missing a line in any century.

Anuradhapura was both the royal thani and the Buddhist center of Sri Lanka for more than 1,300 years before its collapse and was abandoned under a thick forest, but the most remarkable story is that while the palace and the huge incense were devoured by the forest and disappeared for hundreds of years, yet..."This Mahabodhi Phra tree has never been truly abandoned."

Amid the dangers of wild fever and a ferocious army of wild elephants, a small group of monks and ancient families of guardians dedicated and risked their lives in the depths of the forest, never fleeing, lighting fires for beasts, building elephant walls, and lighting lamps to keep this sacred Bodhi tree alive for generations...Until today.

And when the surrounding forests were completely opened, the world manifested the truth that the "Mahabodhi tree" that the monks and a small group of forest dwellers had been hiding in the middle of the beast's enclave for hundreds of years was actually located at the center of one of the greatest ancient worlds.

Moreover, this Bodhi tree serves as a "breed of faith" that passes on sacred shoots, extending branches to lands around the world when the original mother tree in Buddha Ya, India, is destroyed in the war, a bloodline from this Bodhi of Anuradhapura, who is summoned back to plant a replacement to revive Buddhism.

For Thailand, this stream of Buddhist shoots has been enshrined in many eras, from ancient times like the Pho Sri Mahabodhi Temple, Prachinburi Province, which is more than a thousand years old, to the early Bangkok, which is summoned to be planted in three important temples: Mahayuvarnabhumiya Temple, Sukhothasaram Temple, and Ket Phra Temple (Golden Mountain).

I have also seen trees that have been enshrined at the Sri Maha Bang Temple and at the Mok Park, Bangkok, and most recently Sri Maha Bodhi at the Bodhi Temple, Udon Thani Province, an offshoot of Sri Maha Bodhi that was given to the Thai government at the time of Marshal Pibul's war as prime minister and planted in 1951.

Given this miraculous historical, botanical and stream of faith value, UNESCO (UNESCO) declared the "Holy City of Anuradhapura" a cultural World Heritage Site in 1982.

For me, standing here is not only a visit to the world's landmarks, but a journey in the footsteps of Buddhism, from Buddha to Anuradhapura, and today I stand before the tree of Sri Mahabodhi, who descended directly from the tree of enlightenment, bowed down, worshiped, and touched with my heart.

The intended mission was fulfilled perfectly... a dream that used to be far away. Today has become another chapter of life's most precious memories. 🙏🇱🇰

From one of the Bodhi trees at Buddhya to this Bodhi tree at Anuradhapura and later to Thailand, the stream of faith for over 2,300 years is still alive, and today I have the opportunity to be just a small person who stands in that stream with a heart full of faith. 🙏
