Do I inherently believe there isn't a need for church?
Absolutely not, there is a need for biblical communities. However; the current standing church communities hurt just as much as they claim to "fix the broken" & we have come to a point where it may be time to consider, is the American church actually doing more harm than good?
Do I believe the American church is teaching biblical principles and truths?
Absolutely not. The American church is so far off of its teachings that the only thing it may be getting right, maybe, is the vague concept of salvation.
Do I believe this is purposefully done?
Absolutely not, well at least not in the sense that most people who are in these positions are "off" because they are evil or bad, no. I believe whole heartedly that they believe, because of what they have been taught and conditioned to believe, that they are correct in their ways.
