🇯🇵 Steak from $13.80+ (pre-opening till 4 mar)

🇯🇵STEAKS From $13.80++ at STEAK GATZ ステーキガッツ , lvl 1 of Orchard Rd ORCHARD PLAZA‼️ Currently pre-opening till 4 Mar (dm them for seats reservation) - same team behind Ramen Soshiji & Kakkin Oyster Bar❤️

Paying honest review: 🥩 is good & really worth it. Maybe don’t have to top up $3 set (if you are aiming for unlimited top up, they might take some time for now as it’s a small team). Chicken is a good alternative as it goes really well with their sauces👍 Highly recommend the garlic sauce❤️ Best to check them out early before queue goes crazy before they open officially!

STEAK GATZ
2/28 Edited to

... Read moreSTEAK GATZ offers an exciting dining experience if you appreciate Japanese-style steaks with great value. Located on level 1 of Orchard Plaza, this new spot is run by the same team behind Ramen Soshiji and Kakkin Oyster Bar, promising quality and flavor. They feature fire-grilled beef, including their fan-favorite harami steak starting at $13.80++ for 113g, with an option to upgrade to a larger 227g portion paired with a free-flow sauce set for just about $22+. Their signature garlic sauce stands out as a perfect complement to the beef. Interestingly, the chicken steak, which is double-cooked—baked then grilled—holds its own with a variety of sauces, some of which pair even better with chicken than beef. The team operates in a cozy space with only 2-3 staff members, so patience during peak hours, especially around the official opening, is advised. Making a reservation by direct message during this pre-opening period can save you a wait and secure your spot. Given the popularity of their previous establishments, queues are expected when they officially open. Additionally, the $3 top-up set offers unlimited sauce refills; however, it might take some time to serve due to the small team. If you prefer to skip the top-up, the basic steak servings themselves are satisfying and worth trying. In summary, if you’re looking to explore a hidden gem with affordable, hearty Japanese steak dishes and a warm inviting atmosphere in the heart of Orchard, STEAK GATZ is worth a visit. Don’t miss out before the crowd builds up!

One pot, full meal, less mess. This Garlic Butter Rice with Rib Eye Steak is my kind of dinner hack I made the rice underneath and cooked the steak on the rack with the Ninja Foodi SmartLid 11-in-1 Multi-Cooker, so everything comes together in one pot with way less cleanup. Juicy steak, garlick

Tried out Steak99, a spot serving up juicy steaks starting from just $9.90. The meats are served on Mt. Fuji volcanic lava stone so you can cook it to your perfect doneness. The stone stays above 200°C so just be careful around it. I really like how they have different butter flavours to pair with
