This Might Just Be Your Next Go To Japanese Spot

Tried Ganko Sushi recently and the freshness really stood out throughout the meal. Everything clean tasting and nicely done.

With over 100 outlets across Japan and Hong Kong and the Singapore outlet brings that same slightly premium but still comfortable dining experience. Premium ingredients are airflown from Japan which probably explains why the freshness really stood out throughout the meal.

Definitely one of those spots that works well whether you’re planning a casual catch up, family meal or just craving a proper Japanese feast.

Ganko Sushi
5/12 Edited to

... Read moreHaving visited Ganko Sushi myself, I can attest to the standout freshness of their dishes. The fact that they airfly premium ingredients from Japan genuinely makes a difference in taste quality. One of my favorites was the Seasonal Fish Shabu Shabu, where the broth was delicate yet flavorful, perfectly enhancing the fresh fish slices. I also enjoyed the Wagyu Sando, which combined the rich, tender wagyu beef with soft, fresh bread—the contrast was delightful. The restaurant’s ambiance strikes a nice balance between premium and casual, making it a versatile place whether you're catching up with friends or having a family dinner. The Tsubaki Nigiri Platter was another highlight, beautifully presented and each piece crafted with precision. Seasonal dishes like the Chawanmushi added a comforting and authentic touch to the meal. Located conveniently at 9 Penang Road, the opening hours accommodate both lunch and dinner crowds, providing flexibility for various dining plans. If you’re exploring Japanese cuisine in Singapore, Ganko Sushi offers a genuinely fresh and well-rounded experience worth trying. Their over 100 outlets in Japan and Hong Kong attest to their quality and popularity. Overall, it’s become one of my go-to spots for Japanese food that combines quality ingredients and a comfortable dining atmosphere.
