This book is called The Silver Road, A Girl Lost Under Midnight Sun by Stina Jackson, translated by Janjira Liberal Marines.
For this book, a slow burn line that tells a slow story, slowly unravels the knot, emphasizes the feelings of the main character like "Lane Le," a father whose heart was broken because he lost his only daughter. The story starts here from the loss, and he starts looking for his daughter on Silver Road for three years. Grief, the cold of the air, and the sun that never goes down in summer. There is nothing to help Lane Le's pain fade. Lane Le's every day is no different from circling in a maze of memories without a solution. He is on the same path, looking for his daughter in every corner of the road, but there is no sign.
The story is set in tandem with the life of Meya, a teenage girl who is constantly stunned with her mother, who never has a place she calls home, who never gives her a heart shelter, until one day she moves into a small village and meets a young boy by chance.
Lane Le and Meya's lives slowly converge, and until they become intensely intense, about 70% of the books have passed. In total, we love this kind of storytelling. Anyone who really likes novels that use narration to feel like they're in the heart of a character has to try to read this book, the feeling of being gruff and cold and lonely throughout the story. 😣🧊
