Dogs often seek the most enclosed, den-like spaces when anxious, and bathrooms fit that description perfectly. The door can be closed partially or fully, creating a cozy little den that mimics the natural sheltered spaces wild canines would seek. Additionally, bathrooms usually have fewer windows and acoustic materials that muffle sound, helping to reduce the intensity of alarms or fireworks. This natural instinct can also be linked to the dog's desire to stay close to their owner during moments of stress, as the bathroom often remains a frequent human-used space. Sharing these moments, like watching a Mini Goldendoodle dash to the bathroom during an alarm, not only brings laughter but also helps deepen our understanding of their behavior.
