places to visit in philly

these are just a few of my favorite spots in and around philly

1Pennsylvania Convention Center(garage) : i love taking anyone visiting philly to this garage. the pictures here are always beautiful. it’s such a great spot for an iconic philly tourist picture with city hall right behind you.

2. Longwood Gardens : okay so this isn’t in philly. it’s actually in kennett square, about 30-45 minutes outside of the city. they have different showcases every couple months and just walking through these gardens really will take your breath away. another great spot for photo ops but make sure you check to see whether or not you will need a photography permit. simple phone photos will be just fine(:

3. Philadelphia Museum of Art Steps (the rocky steps): *cue the rocky soundtrack* so this is usually a very touristy thing to do but i do have to say, as a philly native, i still love doing this. great cardio 😂 but in all seriousness, the views you get when you reach the top are some of my favorite of the benjamin franklin parkway.

4. Graffiti Pier : this is in the port richmond area of philly. one thing about me, i love exploring new places. my husband didn’t want to go here because he was nervous with what this place holds but it was so colorful. i love going to touristy places but i love taking people to different parts of the city that showcase what philly has to offer which i think graffiti pier does. with all the colors, the different view point of the city, graffiti pier is definitely a hidden (is it really) gem of the city.
