We’re honored to feature Carlos Figueroa Da Silva, known as Carlos Cello — a gifted Venezuelan cellist whose journey through music is as powerful as his sound. Initially trained in piano and solfège, Carlos found his true voice through the cello, excelling at the National Academy of Cello and playing in top symphonies in Caracas. Under the mentorship of award-winning cellist William Molina, he honed his skills before earning a scholarship to Shenandoah University in the U.S.
Carlos has performed alongside renowned artists like Gustavo Dudamel and Wynton Marsalis, graced the stages of the Kennedy Center and Capital One Hall, and received top honors for his interpretations of Elgar and Shostakovich. He’s currently pursuing his master’s at George Mason University while running his D.C.-based business, Carlos Cello, which promotes music, local artists, and community storytelling through powerful performances and visuals.
Now, he’s bringing that same passion to our stage — LIVE with a DJ for a high-energy salsa set that blends classical depth with tropical fire.
