🪷Friends of the Garden membership-Is it worth it?🌿

My honest review 💐✨

When I first signed up for the Friends of the Gardens Membership, I was super excited - unlimited access to Flower Dome & Cloud Forest, including all the special themed displays? YES PLEASE! 😍 Plus, the perks sounded pretty good:

🌷 Unlimited Admission to Flower Dome & Cloud Forest (even during ticketed events!)

🚗 2-hour Complimentary Parking per day

🍰 Discounts at F&B and shops inside the Gardens

🌼 Constantly changing themed floral displays

I managed to catch a few gorgeous displays (swipe to see some I went for! 🌿), but I missed some amazing ones too, like:

🌸 Sakura (Flower Dome)

🦖 Jurassic World: The Experience (Cloud Forest)

🌺 Orchid Extravaganza

❄️ Alpine Adventure starring Begonias

🌻 Sunflower Surprise

🫶🏻 My honest experience

In the beginning of the year, I was soooo excited, every visit felt magical and different with unique setups, seasonal vibes and stunning florals. Perfect for insta pics, peaceful walks, or just a floral therapy day. 💕

But around mid-year… I’ll be honest, I kinda lost interest. 😅 I found myself going just to maximise the membership value, not because I truly felt like it. If you’re not a floral enthusiast, you might feel the same.

💡 Who is it really worth it for?

🌷 Floral Lovers & Hobby Photographers - You’ll love the different themed displays all year long.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families with kids - Perfect outings, educational experiences & free parking = win!

🌤 People living nearby or looking for peaceful weekend spots

📸 Content creators looking for seasonal backdrops

🌿 Final thoughts

It wasn’t a regret, I loved the early visits. But I realised the membership is most valuable when you truly enjoy slow, peaceful nature moments and changing floral themes. 🌱✨

💰 Price: $49 (year end discount)

Currently it's $52

Gardens by the Bay

... Read moreIf you're considering renewing or purchasing the Friends of the Gardens Membership, here are a few additional insights that might help. The membership offers a great value if you enjoy peaceful nature escapes regularly, especially with evolving themes like Rose Romance and Tulipmania that change throughout the year. From what I’ve observed, the themed floral displays such as Orchid Haven in Cloud Forest create fantastic photo ops, perfect for hobby photographers or content creators seeking fresh backdrops periodically. Parking convenience is another underrated perk. Having 2-hour complimentary parking daily makes spontaneous visits easier without the stress of finding a spot or paying high fees nearby. Families with kids often enjoy educational opportunities within the Gardens, making the membership a practical option for weekend outings. If you live close to Gardens by the Bay or frequent the area, the membership helps you connect with nature in a calming environment frequently without feeling like each visit has to be a big occasion. However, if you’re not particularly drawn to floral themes or outdoor nature spots, you might find less reason to use the membership consistently. Pro tip: Keep an eye out for seasonal promotions or discounts that can reduce the cost below the usual $52 yearly fee, enhancing your savings. Also, planning your visits around special events like the Rose Romance or Tulipmania displays can maximize your experience. Overall, the membership is most worthwhile for those who appreciate slow, mindful experiences surrounded by flowers and lush greenery. If that matches your interests or lifestyle, Friends of the Gardens offers nice perks that go beyond basic access—making each visit feel a little more special and relaxing.

One of the longest stamp rallies I’ve done, 10 stamps in total! Be ready to walk a lot and bring an umbrella since it’s mostly outdoors. Best to spend the whole day and take it slow. Great for clocking steps 😂 The link to the stamp locations is here:https://file.go.gov.sg/sbgdiscoverypassport.pd

This post isn’t meant to influence anyone to get a gym membership. Before making such a big purchase, I went through a lot of thought. 1. I’m not new to the gym—I’ve been going to EnergyOne Gym for the past year, consistently at least 3 times a week. I know I can commit for the next year
