College Diaries 003: Last first day of college ☆
I started my last first day of college yesterday and I’m taking 4… well 3 classes because another class starts next month.
Can’t believe I’m almost finish like thank God!!! Hoping to pass these classes so I can graduate with an associates degree next year in May 🥹🎓

Starting the final chapter of college is both exciting and nerve-wracking, especially when it feels like the last "first day". From my experience, managing a nearly full course load while anticipating graduation requires organization and a positive mindset. Having three classes this semester with another starting next month means pacing myself is crucial; I’ve found that breaking down each syllabus into weekly goals keeps me on track. One unexpected challenge is the emotional mix—relief that it’s almost over but also the pressure to finish strong. Participating in the community college environment, I’ve noticed a unique sense of camaraderie among classmates who also juggle work, family, and studies. Leaning into peer support and campus resources has been invaluable for staying motivated and ensuring I meet deadlines. If you’re approaching your last semester or the last first day of college, my advice is to embrace each moment. Celebrate completing milestones, stay connected with your professors early, and plan for graduation to avoid last-minute stress. Keep an eye on your mental health by scheduling regular breaks and finding time for hobbies that rejuvenate you. The associate degree is an important stepping stone—don’t underestimate the pride in this achievement and the doors it can open for your future education and career.
