Inside my Job as a Marketing Assistant🥰🌸

A lot of people think a digital marketing job is just posting on Instagram — but in reality? I'm juggling content creation, influencer management, ad editing, and a whole lot more. 👀 Here's a breakdown of everything I actually do as a Digital Marketing Associate at an activewear brand in NYC:

💻 Social Media Strategy: Planning out our content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Pinterest.

🤝 Influencer Marketing: Sourcing influencers, reviewing content, giving feedback, and managing timelines — especially for seasonal campaigns.

📸 Production Assistance: Helping plan lifestyle photoshoots from casting to prop styling, assisting on set, and sometimes directing UGC-style content.

🎁 Giveaway Coordination: Organizing 2-way brand giveaways (think: aligning goals, drafting captions, securing influencer approvals, tracking performance).

✍️ Blog Content Writing: I write blog posts with SEO in mind — from "How to Style Athleisure for Fall" to workout recovery guides. It's content marketing that helps drive long-term traffic.

🎬 Paid Ad Editing: I cut and repurpose influencer videos and UGC into paid ads for Meta and TikTok — so it has to be polished but feel native to the platform.

🧠 Content Creation: From trending TikToks to product highlight Reels, I brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit some of our short-form content too. It's a blend of creativity and strategy, and no two days look the same. I love that my role lets me touch a little bit of everything. Would you ever want a job that mixes creativity with marketing like this? What part of it sounds the most fun (or stressful)?#lemon8partner #marketingcareer
