low iron herbal tinctures

🌿 My Low Iron Journey – What My Body Was Trying to Tell Me

I used to think exhaustion was just part of being a busy woman. I was always cold, craving ice (yes, chewing ice cubes like candy), and felt foggy no matter how much I slept. It wasn’t until a routine checkup that I learned my iron levels were dangerously low—I was anemic.

At first, I brushed it off. But as symptoms piled up—hair thinning, brittle nails, shortness of breath, and extreme fatigue—I knew something deeper was going on.

What caused it? A mix of things: ✨ Heavy periods

✨ Not absorbing iron well (even when I ate spinach + red meat)

✨ Drinking coffee or tea too close to meals (which blocks iron absorption!)

✨ A mostly plant-based diet without balancing it with iron-rich pairings

I had no idea that even stress can deplete your mineral levels. My body was speaking—I just wasn’t listening yet.

Now, I support my iron with: 🩸 Energy Plus from Eathly wellness

🍋 Vitamin C-rich foods to boost absorption

🌿 Herbal tinctures & teas that nourish blood health

🥦 Cooking with cast iron pans (yep—it actually helps!)

The biggest lesson? Your fatigue is not “normal.” Listen to your body. Iron plays a huge role in how we show up in our lives, and healing doesn’t just start in the doctor’s office—it starts with awareness.

Have you struggled with low iron? Let’s talk about it. 🤍

... Read moreIron deficiency is a common health issue impacting energy levels and overall wellness. Many individuals may experience symptoms like fatigue, hair thinning, and brittle nails due to low iron. Incorporating herbal tinctures can be an effective natural remedy to boost iron levels. Popular herbal tinctures for iron support include nettle, yellow dock, and dandelion, known for their high mineral content and ability to enhance absorption. Furthermore, combining these tinctures with vitamin C-rich foods, such as citrus fruits, can significantly improve iron absorption in the body. It's crucial to understand that lifestyle factors, such as dietary choices and stress, can also affect iron levels and overall health. Engaging in stress management practices and monitoring your diet can complement the use of herbal remedies in addressing iron deficiency. Make sure to consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice and before starting any new remedies, especially if you are experiencing symptoms of low iron.
