Zhangjiajie (张家界) was the inspiration for the fantastic environment of Avatar’s Pandora. It’s most famous for its pillars that seem to defy physics and float in the sky (another post on this soon). But the most famous spots are almost completely overrun by people even on a quiet day. Zhangjiajie’
