What do you do when you want an English month like "May" from a date? 🤔

I was wondering if I could use the TEXT function.

However, when using the TEXT function, the data changes from "date" to "just a character."

Then, when trying to sort the data by month,

"April (April) → August (August)..." in alphabetical order, and the time series is messed up 😭

The data inside remains "date,"

Is it correct to dress only the appearance 💡

① Select the date cell you want to English

② Press Ctrl + 1 (Cmd + 1 on Mac) to open the formatting

③ Select "User Defined" and enter the following!

👉 [$-409] MMMM
