[How to do summary]

Give a date:

Enter "= INT (date and time cell)" in the cell

Press [Ctrl + Shift + 3] to convert to date format!

💡 Why does the "INT function" display a date?

Actually, in Excel, dates and times are managed by "numbers."

The rules are [date is an integer] like "2026/06/10" and [time is a decimal] like "09: 15."

The INT function has the role of "extracting (truncating) only the integer part of the number."

If you use the INT function on a cell containing a date and time, the decimal (time) disappears and only the integer (date) can be left cleanly ✨

② Give time:

Enter "= Date cell - Date cell" in the cell

Press [Ctrl + Shift + @ (at mark)] to convert to the time format!

By subtracting the date (integer) from the whole (date and time), only "time (too many decimals)" remains.
