Lemon 8 is helping me potty train ✨
Hello, first time mom here 👋🏾 I’m in btwn listening to the old mother’s tales and searching the internet for my answers. We are 3 days in with potty training and I must admit that day ☝🏾 was very frustrating. In this 3 day journey I’ve had to have a conversation with myself “you’re learning” “your child is learning” “remain patient, she’s only 2”. I do believe once this potty training journey is over I’ll appreciate myself and my daughter MORE !!! And I’ll be most proud of us both 🥹💗
I have been allowing my daughter to roam in the nude during this journey. I have blocked her off from all carpeted areas in our home. We have options for the potty ( we can go to the big potty or we can sit here in the hardwood floor area and use our Minnie Mouse potty) We’re having plenty to drink. We stop drinks at about 7/7:30 and getting ready for bed about 8:30/9. Kids need structure and routine and starting potty training brings me to the realization my winging it days are OVER !!! 🥲
