Mini pizzas for picky eater toddlers🫶

My 15 month old barely eats regular food, but these easy mini pizzas saved my life🙏

I have to make these every other day because it's the only thing he actually eats and leaves no crumbs 😆

All you need:

Mini naan

Mozzarella cheese

Ham or pepperoni

Pizza sauce

Throw them in the air fryer at 360° for 6 minutes.

Even I eat these on super busy days because they're so easy and good😋😋

Read moreAs a parent of a picky toddler myself, I completely understand how challenging it can be to find foods that your little one actually enjoys and finishes without leaving crumbs everywhere. These mini pizzas have truly been a lifesaver in my household. Using mini naan as a base makes it easy to handle for tiny hands, and it crisps up nicely in the air fryer, making the texture more appealing than soggy bread. I found that the choice of cheese and protein matters a lot as well. Using shredded mozzarella cheese produced without artificial hormones gives a cleaner flavor and supports calcium intake for growing bones. Adding ham or pepperoni adds protein and flavor, but you can easily substitute with turkey slices or finely chopped veggies to cater to your toddler’s preferences. The pizza sauce used should be smooth and mild to avoid overwhelming a toddler’s sensitive palate. I personally look for marinara sauce made without added sugars or artificial ingredients to keep it healthy. Cooking the mini pizzas at 360°F in an air fryer for about 6 minutes achieves the perfect melt on the cheese and a slight crisp on the edges without drying out the toppings. Additionally, these mini pizzas are incredibly convenient for busy days. I often make a batch in advance and keep them refrigerated, then reheat quickly in the air fryer or oven. They’re also versatile—perfect as a quick lunch, snack, or a simple dinner when time is tight. Incorporating recognizable brands like Kirkland’s shredded mozzarella ensures quality ingredients. Plus, the naan bread’s recipe often includes wholesome ingredients like buttermilk and ghee, enhancing the taste and nutritional value. If your toddler is just starting to explore finger foods, these mini pizzas are also a great way to introduce new textures and flavors gently. The manageable size and familiar flavors make them toddler-friendly and appealing even to finicky eaters. Overall, mini pizzas like these can be a nutritious, tasty, and stress-free option to add to your toddler’s meal rotation—you’ll be amazed at how often they ask for more!
