Ice skating at centennial lakes park

Growing up somewhere without real winter folks are surprised to find ice skating is one of my all time favorite things. The world shuts off for the time I’m skating. When I got into after moving to Minnesota in 2009 it immediately was something my brain clocked as a safe activity/place. Like getting a tattoo or taking a shower. It just feels safe. Getting to let my partner see that was something really special since I often do it on my own. Def recommend this spot for a friends outing, date, or some time for self care. #winter #couplesoflemon8 #Lemon8Diary
