✨ Series Breakdown: (8 Part Series) but we will try to break it down as much as possible so try to bear with me🙏🏽 it took me forever to figure out a name and safe place for us all to feel comfortable and talk about all the areas that need to be addressed🫵🏽
so let’s dive right in…..
Part 1️⃣ Wounded to Worship
• Healing from past pain and transforming wounds into worship. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
“As i’m writing this i’m reminded that there was a time when I carried pain in silence. I smiled, but inside, I felt unseen and unheard. I had this guy in high school who I was talking to. Well from my understanding we were but of course he had other motives he took my virginity and gave me something all in one day. And the way my mom found out was from a stupid doctor because i never told her. (AND from that day forward I made a vow to not tell anyone else anything.)My mom punished me and took my phone I cried all night and no one knew. I had to go to school and couldn’t tell my sister and had to pretend nothing had ever happened or I would get in trouble for opening my mouth. I prayed and prayed and prayed, cried and prayed but I wasn’t sure if God was listening. We cry in silence a lot of times but It wasn’t until a few years ago maybe 2023 I surrender my all wounds to Him (still trying to surrender more)that I began to heal. Healing isn’t instant, but it is possible with a little help of course.”
Psalm 147:3 – ‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.’
“This space is for those who carry silent wounds, who feel alone in their struggles, and who desire healing through faith. Here, we will write, reflect, and heal together.”
“What is one area in your life where you need healing? If you’re comfortable, comment with a heart emoji🩷 to show you’re on this journey with us.”
Come back for…..
Part 2️⃣ Unspoken Wounds
• Acknowledging the silent pain we carry and surrendering it to God. (Psalm 34:18)
#TheHealingTable #FaithAndHealing #Restoration #HealingThroughChrist
In our quest for healing, it’s important to acknowledge not only the silent wounds we carry, but also how they impact our lives. Many individuals suffer in silence, believing they are alone in their struggles. This series aims to create a community where we can openly discuss our wounds and work towards restoration. The journey to healing can often be long and painful, but by sharing our experiences, we can support one another. Biblical verses such as Psalm 34:18 remind us that God is close to the brokenhearted, providing comfort and hope. This movement encourages participants to reflect on their life experiences, identify areas needing healing, and surrender these to God. Come explore themes of brokenness, resilience, and transformation through discussions that touch on generational cycles, family pain, and finding purpose in struggles. Each part of the series will delve deeper into these topics, guiding us to recognize the strength found in vulnerability. As you join The Healing Table, consider what healing means to you. Engage with others by sharing your stories in the comments, fostering a sense of community and support. Remember, healing is not an instant process, but with faith and shared testimonies, we can inspire and uplift one another on this transformative journey.
