FROZEN COCONUT ESPRESSO MARTINI (NA)

It’s still summer, but it’s starting to feel a little like fall. If not the weather, then in the vibe. We’re being tugged toward swimsuits and that last dip in the pool, while also shopping for cozy sweaters.

This coconut-meets-s’mores cocktail is perfect for the awkward “season” between summer and fall.

FROZEN COCONUT ESPRESSO MARTINI (NA)

1.5 oz @lyresspiritco Coffee Originale (na)

1/2 oz @lyresspiritco White Cane Spirit (na)

1.5 oz espresso (or 2 oz of strong coffee)

1/2 oz cream of coconut (or flavored creamer, if you prefer)

1/2 cup ice — to blend

Combine all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth. Adding more ice will make a thicker, frostier consistency. You can also freeze the coffee/espresso into cubes in advance. 🧊

Serve in a chilled coupe glass with grated graham cracker + chocolate (or toasted coconut!). Cheers!

... Read moreAs the seasons shift from summer’s warmth to fall’s crisp air, this Frozen Coconut Espresso Martini (NA) perfectly captures the transitional vibe many of us experience. This non-alcoholic mocktail combines the bold richness of espresso with the tropical creaminess of coconut, creating a balanced drink that is both invigorating and comforting. One of the highlights of the recipe is the use of Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits — Coffee Originale and White Cane Spirit — which add complexity and depth without the alcohol content. These expertly crafted spirits mimic the flavors of their alcoholic counterparts, making this cocktail a sophisticated option for designated drivers or those avoiding alcohol. To enhance the texture, freezing your coffee or espresso into ice cubes beforehand can add an extra layer of chill without diluting the cocktail’s intensity. This method helps maintain a frosty, smooth consistency, ideal for a summer-to-fall mocktail. Serving the drink in a chilled coupe glass elevates the experience, complemented by a garnish of grated graham cracker and chocolate or toasted coconut. These toppings pay homage to s’mores, tempting nostalgic memories of fall camping trips and around-the-fire moments. This recipe embraces the trend towards creative mocktails that do not compromise on flavor or presentation. Whether you’re winding down a summer day or welcoming the cozy spirit of fall, this coconut and espresso concoction offers a delightful way to enjoy seasonal flavors. For those interested in experimenting, variations such as swapping cream of coconut for a flavored creamer or adding a dash of spice like cinnamon can personalize the drink to your taste. The versatility of the base ingredients means there’s room to explore and craft your signature fall beverage. Overall, this Frozen Coconut Espresso Martini (NA) is an excellent choice for any occasion bridging the gap between seasons—refreshing yet rich, and perfectly suited for anyone looking to savor the best of both summer and fall flavors.
