Shiraito Falls (Fuji)
Shiraito Falls is a beautiful waterfall in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where the snowmelt of Mt. Fuji flows down. It is characterized by the appearance of hundreds of silk-like water flowing down from a curved cliff with a height of about 20 m and a width of about 150 m, and it is also designated as a national scenic spot and natural monument. It is also one of the constituent assets of the World Heritage "Mt. Fuji - Object of Religion and Source of Art."

Access
By public transport:
From JR Minobu Line "Fujinomiya Station," take the local bus bound for "Shiraito no Taki" for about 30 minutes.
After getting off at "Gongenbashi" stop, it is about 10 minutes on foot.
In case of car:
Approximately 40 minutes from Tomei Expressway "Fuji IC" using Nishi Fuji Road and National Route 139.
From Chuo Expressway "Kawaguchiko IC" south on National Route 139, about 1 hour.
The free main parking lot (about 200 cars) is located closest to the falls, but can be congested during peak times in the summer months.
What to see
Otodome Waterfall: Right next to Shiraito Waterfall is Otodome Waterfall, a heroic waterfall with a legend of the Soga brothers' revenge.
Collaboration with Mt. Fuji: On sunny days, you can enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji along with the waterfall, making it a great shooting spot.
Strolling around the area: There are shops and souvenir shops where you can enjoy local gourmet, so you can enjoy staying for about half a day.

白糸の滝へは公共交通機関や車でのアクセス方法が充実しており、富士宮駅からのバスは非常に便利です。駐車場については夏季の混雑時に時間に余裕を持って訪れるのがおすすめ。 併設されている音止の滝も歴史的な伝説を感じられるスポットで、両方の滝を見比べながら散策すると自然の力強さを感じられます。 訪問時にはぜひ富士山の写真撮影も忘れずに。晴天時は壮大な富士山と滝のコラボレーションが楽しめ、GoProなどアクションカメラを使っての記録も人気です。私も何度か利用していますが、防水性能がある機器なら雨天時でも問題なく撮影でき、思い出をきれいに残せますよ。 周辺には地元のグルメやお土産屋さんがあり、半日以上かけてゆっくり滞在して自然と食文化を満喫することが可能です。車椅子に対応した設備も整っているので、どなたでも気軽に訪問できます。
