私が「信楽の楽しみ方」を探して実際にやってよかったのは、“信楽駅を起点にした短時間の電車＋徒歩観光”でした。信楽高原鐵道は貴生川駅〜信楽駅の往復でも十分旅気分が出ますし、たぬき列車に当たるとテンション上がります。まず信楽駅に着いたら駅前の大たぬき像へ直行。季節で衣装が変わるので、同じ信楽でも行くたびに写真が違うのが嬉しいポイントです。 ホームにも信楽たぬきがずらっと並んでいて、ここが一番のフォトスポットだと思いました。ホームに入るには入場券が必要なので、撮影目的なら先に券売機・窓口で確認しておくとスムーズです。私はフリーパス（フリー乗車）を買って往復しましたが、途中駅は“景色を眺める区間”として割り切ると満足度が上がります。時刻表は本数が多い路線ではないので、信楽高原鉄道時刻表を見て「滞在時間」を先に決めておくのがおすすめです。 駅舎内は小さめですが土産屋が2軒あって、信楽焼の小物がさくっと見られました。「信楽焼どこで買う？」問題は、まず駅で下見→気に入ったら町の窯元や販売店で本命を探す流れが失敗しにくいです。たぬきの“変わり種”も多くて、表情や持ち物が違うだけで意味合いが変わるのが面白かったです。女の子たぬき系のデザインも見かけたので、気になる人は店員さんに由来や意味を聞くと、買う時の愛着が増えます。 車で行く人向けには、画像で見た「市民センター横に無料駐車場（トイレ付）」がかなり助かりそうだと感じました。駅までは少し距離がある前提で、歩きやすい靴が安心です。 もし時間を足せるなら、信楽観光スポットとしては陶芸の森も候補。陶芸の森駐車場の有無や混雑は日程で変わるので、イベント（信楽陶器市／信楽陶器まつり2026など）と重なる日は早め行動が無難です。私は短時間でも「信楽＝たぬき＋信楽焼＋鉄道」を一気に回収できて、満足度が高い旅になりました。
