Just a silly guy

It was just a fun line drawing I did, but I’ve been getting so many questions and thoughts about it, especially connecting it to the world of My Hero Academia! When I first started sketching, I really wanted to create a character that felt a little quirky and mysterious. That's how my 'silly guy' came to be! I was playing around with different head designs, and I landed on this figure with a mechanical or camera-like head. I love how the circular lenses and the cross-shaped top give him such a unique, almost robotic, but still friendly vibe. And of course, having him holding an object adds a bit of intrigue – what is it? What does he do? Sometimes the best art starts with just a simple idea and letting your imagination run wild! Thinking about how this 'silly guy' could fit into a bigger story, like a My Hero Academia Vigilante roleplay, has been super exciting. I mean, imagine a character with a mechanical head, maybe his 'quirk' has something to do with his optics or perhaps he's an inventor! It encourages me to keep experimenting with my line drawings and character designs.
