✨ 6 stories that no one told First Jobber
(Ver. Not finding the first job on the line) ✨
From childology → marketing line | purely real experience 🥹💼
Frankly, the first job wasn't easy.
Rejected a lot, rejected a lot, applied for hundreds, almost silent
But today I want to share what I learned in order to help someone. 💛
1️⃣, college activities are more important than I thought.
Good grades alone are not enough.
Activity is what makes HR see our "identity."
The more diverse, the more stories they tell in interviews.
2️⃣ How to get dressed?
Neat, clean, confident.
Don't be full. Just watch the professional. ✨
3️⃣ Sprinkle the resume. Don't be afraid.
Read the JD roughly and send it.
Maybe calling 1 out of 10 is better than not sending it.
Considered to have practiced in-person interviews
4️⃣ TOEIC is important, but not the ultimate.
Do not wait for points before applying
But if there are 700 +, it actually increases the likelihood + salary. 🥲
5️⃣ How to prepare before the interview?
Prepare about 10 Q & A.
Know yourself clearly and connect it to your position.
Confident, smiling, eye contact, as yourself, but not overplaying.
6️⃣ The first job doesn't have to be perfect.
Set priority.
Workplace 📍 | Position | Company | Salary
Do not turn off the opportunity for yourself because of fear only.
💌 It's encouraging for everyone who's looking for a job.
We're not excelling slower than anyone. We're just on our own.
