"9 Nights of Battle Between Light and Dark"
🔥 🔥
(22 Sep - 2 Oct 68) 🗓️
➡️ The legend says...
When the arrogant buffalo beast is blessed that no deity can slay, the angels despair, and the human world trembles with the power of darkness.
In that time, the divine power of women, the Tridevi - Our Lady Parvati, Our Lady Lakshmi, and Our Lady Saraswati - combined the power of birth into Our Lady Durkha, a warrior feminine deity, a powerful man fighting over all things.
🗡️, the Virgin Durkha wore 10 instruments from the gods.

⚡ and fought the Hallows for nine fierce nights.
On the 10th night - Vijayadashami - darkness is slain. The light of dharma appears. This is the origin of the Navarat festival.
✨ This festival is therefore not just worship, but the remembrance of the victory of good over evil; and the discovery of divine power in the hearts of all men.
🔮 Pictorial Note: This image echoes the moment of the greatest battle in Hindu mythology - Our Lady Durkha subdued the Hallows, amid sacred fire and prayers of worship from the faithful.
