braàiddds 🖤
Unless I take a break, every two weeks I go to the African braiding spot around the corner. I get between 2-6 braids depending on how I'm feeling. Living my best life when they give me the scalp scrub while I'm getting the wash and set, before they knot me up. It's the little things that matter to me. I don't get a shape up anymore because
1. I don't like the barbershop near me. I went there once and they spoke about my skin condition on my face in Spanish making it out as if I was dirty. It made me completely uncomfortable, honestly. After I received the shape up I thanked the barber, tipped him and I never went back.
2. I do not trust people with my hair. lol. It's that simple.
But yeah I love every time it's time for a new style. Always excited to push the ladies limits and see what kind of styles I can pull off. keeping it simple this time but more to come.
Till next time my peeps.
