How to Become a Pro Model

📍 NY | Los Angeles | Chicago

(STEPS Below)

God showed me favor with modeling. I look nothing like the models you see on tv and that alone made me feel like it was impossible but ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH JESUS. I was only modeling for 3 weeks and scored a HUGE GIG with a high fashion european designer. I was only modeling for 3 weeks when I got my feature with Vogue, Harper Baazar, Elle Magazine, and more. I become a Professional Model after only 3 WEEKS 🥹. I was absolutely shocked and thankful to God. Now It wasn’t that easy but it was very exciting and fun. I was doing 2-4 photoshoots per day and modeling 4-6 times every week….that’s 8-24 photoshoots each week.

God made it all possible for me

Fun Fact: My longest photoshoot was 12 hours and we traveled to 3 different states to shoot.

STEPS:

1. Pray, Pray, Pray 🙏🏽

2. Take Digitals 📸 Wear a basic all black outfit (Tank Top or T-Shirt & Jeans)

3. Look for casting calls (Socialize with other models, Backstage Casting, Facebook, Instagram, etc)

4. Apply for casting calls 🥰

5. Don’t stop applying until you get a gig.

It's vital to stay updated with fashion trends, as versatility can attract diverse clients. Also, consider joining modeling classes or workshops that can enhance your skills. Lastly, maintaining physical and mental health is essential. A balanced diet and regular exercise will not only keep you fit but also boost your self-confidence, which is critical in this field. With determination and the right approach, you can thrive and make your mark in the modeling industry.
