It’s NO-vember 🍁🍂
I always start my New Year in November, weird right?
But I do this to give myself a head-start for new habits.
That way, by the time January comes I’ve already adapted my new habits and worked through my “cheat days” gracefully without shame 🙂.
Be kind to yourself!
Those on the same wave, Happy New Year! 🎈

Embracing a New Year mindset in November, known as NO-vember, can be a powerful way to set yourself up for success. By saying no to what drains you—whether it's negative habits, toxic relationships, or overwhelming commitments—and yes to what brings you joy and peace, you can protect your energy and foster a healthier lifestyle. This concept aligns with the idea of a 'soft lifestyle,' where self-love and kindness become priorities over rigid expectations. NO-vember encourages you to give yourself grace during your habit-building journey. Instead of waiting until January to set resolutions, starting early allows you to gradually adapt, making it easier to handle setbacks, like cheat days, without shame. Being kind to yourself is crucial; recognizing progress rather than perfection supports mental well-being. For those who resonate with this approach, NO-vember becomes more than just a month—it’s a mindset shift. Incorporating gentle routines, mindful decisions, and setting boundaries can help sustain this positive momentum into the new year and beyond. Whether you use this time to focus on fitness, nutrition, mental health, or personal growth, protecting your energy is key. Whether you’re in Houston or elsewhere, adopting NO-vember can help you reshape your lifestyle with self-compassion and intention, supporting lasting change and personal empowerment.
