*Project Pan* Extremely Loved Products That I May (or may not) Be Repurchasing
I’ve made a promise to myself a few year ago that I won’t buy new makeup until I finish products that I already have. It may be about that time to start replenishing some items. Here are a few of my products that I’ve hit pan are are coming really close to finishing.
1. MAC mineralized skinfinish: I don’t purchase from this brand anymore, so I’ll be replenishing with a different setting powder.
2. MAC select moisturecover concealer: even if I wanted to, I think this concealer is discontinued.
3. MORPHE setting mist: I LOOOOOVVVEEEEE. I keep repurchasing this setting spray over and over.
4. MILK hydro grip primer: I really enjoy this feel of this primer. It leaves a “tacky” feeling which I think helps products stick and last longer on my face.
5. Milani Antigravity Mascara: this thickening mascara gives my lashes a full glam look that I absolutely love. I’ll be repurchasing again for sure.
6. Milani Cream Bronzer: this has to be the best cream bronzer I’ve tried. Perfect shade. Perfect texture. 100% will purchase again.
7. MAC lip pencils: these are some great lip pencils. For comparison, I added a pencil that I’ve only used once to show how loved the other 2 lip pencils are. Let me know of some dupes!!
8. TARTE Amazonian Clay Bronzer: I know Amazonian clay still exists, but I can’t find the Park Ave Princess shade. I wonder if they discontinued it 🤔
I’d love to know what some of your favorite products are! Let me know what I should pick up next.
... Read moreSticking to a Project Pan plan has truly transformed the way I use makeup. By committing to finishing products before buying new ones, I’ve become more mindful about what I truly love and what just takes up space. For example, the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist is a staple for me because it locks in my makeup all day, preventing that dreaded mid-afternoon fade. Its lightweight mist feels refreshing, and I usually repurchase it multiple times a year.
One product I’ve been surprised to love is the Milk Hydro Grip Primer. Many primers tend to feel heavy or greasy, but this one has a unique tacky texture that really helps foundation and powders stick. My makeup lasts longer, and my skin feels hydrated instead of dry. It’s now a primer I recommend to friends looking to improve makeup longevity.
About bronzers, I have to say the Milani Cream Bronzer is a standout. Unlike powder bronzers that can sometimes look patchy, this cream formula blends seamlessly into the skin, giving a natural sun-kissed effect. Plus, the shade and texture feel perfect for my skin tone and type. While I’ve heard the Tarte Amazonian Clay Bronzer in Park Ave Princess isn’t always easy to find, I personally miss it when I’m not using it because of its buildable warmth and beautiful finish.
When it comes to lip pencils, the MAC ones I’ve used show how a good pencil can really elevate any lip look with smooth application and lasting color. However, if you’ve found great dupes that have comparable quality but are more affordable or have different shade ranges, I’d love to hear about them!
Through this process, I’ve also learned that discontinuations happen, like with the MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer, which means it’s a good idea to explore alternative products ahead of time. Overall, Project Pan teaches patience, saving money, and encouraging us to appreciate the makeup we have. I’d recommend anyone looking to declutter or be more sustainable with beauty products to try it out. What products have you loved hitting pan on, and which ones do you keep repurchasing?
try the morphe or makeup forever liners! maybelline lifter liner is also really good ❤️
