... Read moreSouth Florida is a treasure trove for nature lovers, and its diverse trails offer something for every outdoor enthusiast. Beyond the popular spots, I've enjoyed discovering hidden gems like Simpson Park Hammock, which feels like a secret jungle right in the heart of Brickell. The peaceful woodland and lush greenery make it a perfect urban escape. Chapel Trail Nature Preserve in Pembroke is another must-visit. It's free to the public and features a variety of walking paths through natural habitats where you can spot native wildlife. I recommend bringing a camera or binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching. If you like combining beach time with hiking, Haulover Beach Park is ideal. It’s unique for offering a skating area alongside optional beach access and nature trails. It’s a refreshing mix that makes your visit multi-dimensional. For those looking to explore wetlands, Grassy Waters Preserve is a serene spot with observation decks and a nature center that provides environmental insights. Walking the boardwalks over the wetlands allows for close views of local flora and fauna. Greynolds Park in North Miami is a local favorite. It provides shaded trails and picnic areas, making it perfect for a family outing. Meanwhile, Blowing Rocks Preserve on the beach showcases fascinating Anastasia limestone formations that are truly a natural spectacle. Lastly, the Anne Kolbe Nature Center offers an engaging experience with its observation tower and water decks, letting you immerse yourself in the local ecosystem while learning about native plants and animals. In my experience, these trails not only provide excellent opportunities for hiking and sightseeing but also offer moments of tranquility away from urban hustle, making South Florida a great spot for nature exploration and relaxation.

A few places we loved in London this November 🇬🇧
London in November was such a good mix of exploring and slowing down. We walked everywhere, took the Tube, found cute spots for tea, and stopped at all the places we’ve always wanted to see — Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the bridge views, and the prettiest storefronts getting ready for the season.
