จากประสบการณ์การสมัครงานหลายครั้ง ผมพบว่าแม้คุณจะมีคุณสมบัติตรงตามที่งานต้องการ และประสบการณ์ในมือสมน้ำสมเนื้อ แต่กลับไม่ได้รับการติดต่อสัมภาษณ์สักที เมื่อสอบถามพบว่าเป็นเพราะเรซูเม่ไม่ได้ผ่านระบบ ATS ที่บริษัทใช้คัดกรองก่อนการพิจารณาของ HR จริงๆ ระบบ ATS จะทำหน้าที่ค้นหา Keyword ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับตำแหน่งงานจากเรซูเม่ หากคำที่ใช้ไม่ตรงหรือไม่มีเลย เรซูเม่นั้นจะถูกตัดทิ้งโดยอัตโนมัติ ซึ่งแตกต่างจากความเข้าใจผิดที่หลายคนคิดว่าเรซูเม่ที่ดูสวยงามหรือใช้ภาษาคุยเป็นกันเองจะช่วยให้ผ่านด่านง่ายขึ้น ในความเป็นจริง ATS จะตรวจสอบเฉพาะคำตรงและจำนวนที่เหมาะสมเท่านั้น Keyword ที่ต้องใส่ในเรซูเม่ควรประกอบด้วยตำแหน่งงานที่สมัคร, Hard Skills ที่จำเป็น, เครื่องมือหรือซอฟต์แวร์ที่ใช้, วิธีการหรือกรอบการทำงานที่คุ้นเคย รวมถึงใบรับรองหรือทักษะด้านภาษา ซึ่งเมื่อเทียบกับ JD ตำแหน่งงานที่เปิดรับให้รู้ว่าคำไหนใช้บ่อยและเหมาะสมจริง ๆ สำหรับวิธีการหา Keyword แบบง่าย ๆ คือ เปิดประกาศรับสมัครงาน (JD) ของตำแหน่งที่สนใจ เลือกวงคำซ้ำ ๆ ที่ปรากฏหลายครั้ง จากนั้นคัดเลือกเฉพาะคำที่เราทำได้จริงและสามารถพิสูจน์ได้ จากนั้นนำคำเหล่านี้ไปวางในส่วนต่าง ๆ ของเรซูเม่ เช่น สรุปประวัติส่วนตัว, ประสบการณ์ทำงาน และทักษะต่าง ๆ สำคัญมากที่ต้องระวังการใส่ Keyword มากเกินไปหรือใส่อย่างไม่เป็นธรรมชาติ เพราะถึงจะผ่าน ATS แต่หากไม่สามารถอธิบายหรือแสดงผลงานในสัมภาษณ์ได้ ก็อาจเสียโอกาสงานนั้นเหมือนเดิม สุดท้าย ต้องเข้าใจว่าเรซูเม่ยุคนี้ต้องผ่านสองด่าน ด่านแรกคือ ATS ที่คัดกรองคำ และด่านที่สองคือ HR ที่พิจารณาคุณภาพโดยรวมของผู้สมัคร หากไม่ผ่านด่านแรกก็ไม่มีโอกาสได้แสดงความสามารถให้ HR เห็นเลย การปรับเรซูเม่โดยใช้ Keyword อย่างเหมาะสมจึงเป็นก้าวแรกที่สำคัญสู่ความสำเร็จในการหางาน
