New updates, who doesn't need to register?
There are three major groups of people who will receive more than 33 million, with the government using the remaining 2025 budget and the 2026 budget.
Group 1: 13 million State Welfare Card holders
It will receive an additional 1,700 baht per month, combined with the original 300 baht. It will receive a total of 2,000 baht per month in a single period without re-registration. The project is budgeted at 22,000 million baht, which comes from the leftovers of the 2025 budget to be transferred to the State Welfare Fund and transferred directly to low-income people.
Group 2: 11 million people in the tax system.
The privilege will be granted in half of the projects modified from 50: 50 to 60: 40. The government will contribute 2,400 baht and the public will top up another 2,000 baht. It can be paid no more than 200 baht per day.
Group 3: 9 million people outside the tax system
It will receive a top-up of 2,000 baht, with the budget for Group 2 and Group 3 totaling about 40,000 million baht, and the budget will be spent in FY 2026.
The government will open up new registrations in half-plus programs at the beginning of October, but those who have participated in half-phase 5 do not have to re-register, while those who have been in the previous phase or have not participated must re-register. People can start using the money at the end of October if the registration is completed using the same "wallet" application.
However, half plus projects, or half 2025, still have to wait for more details. If further progress is made, further reports will be made.
