Permission Granted: Write the Bad Page
Some days journaling feels less like self-care and more like being assigned a surprise essay by a teacher you don’t even like.
That’s usually when people quit.
Not because they don’t want to journal.
Because they think they need to have something meaningful to say before they start.
Meanwhile, some of my most useful journal entries have been:
* “I don’t know why I’m grumpy.”
* “I would like a snack and a nap.”
* “Everyone is being annoying today.”
* “Why is this one tiny thing taking up 97% of my brain?”
Groundbreaking? No.
Helpful? Weirdly, yes.
The page doesn’t need your best thoughts. It just needs your honest ones.
And if all you write today is one sentence? Congratulations. You officially journaled.
