Get to Loreto before the tourist do! I estimate this place will be an overdeveloped tourist trap in about 20 years. Loreto is on the eastern shores of Baja California Sur, and you could drive by it in a fog. Ironically, it’s the oldest settlement on the coast, but completely overlooked. But it now has an international airport. This place will be discovered. But not yet!

Taco Bell and Mountain Dew have launched Baja Blast Gelato to celebrate Baja Blast’s 20th birthday! I paid 3.99 for 3.6 oz and I think it was a good sized portion! It has a light Baja flavor and is extremely refreshing and cooling for a hot day. It was very soft and easy to eat immediately.
