🇳🇿 Part 2: To learn a language in New Zealand. Which city to choose?
After deciding on NZ, the next question is...
"So which city to live in?"
At first we thought that New Zealand was not very big. Which city would be similar.
But when I started looking for information, I realized that each city had a very different character.
Some cities are suitable for people without cars.
Some cities find part-time jobs easier.
Some cities suit natural lines and Outdoor activities.
Some cities are so calm that they are suited to slow living.
We chose three things.
• Part-time job opportunities
• Travel without a car
• Quality of life as an international student
So it ended up in Auckland.
And to this day, it is still thought to be the decision that best suits itself. 😊

เมื่อพูดถึงการไปเรียนภาษาที่นิวซีแลนด์ หลายคนอาจมองว่านิวซีแลนด์เป็นประเทศที่ไม่ใหญ่มาก เลือกเมืองไหนก็ไม่น่าจะต่างกันมากนัก แต่จริงๆ แล้วแต่ละเมืองมีเอกลักษณ์และจุดเด่นที่แตกต่างกันมาก ซึ่งส่งผลต่อประสบการณ์การใช้ชีวิตและเรียนภาษาที่นั่นอย่างมาก สำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติที่ไม่มีรถ การเลือกเมืองที่เดินทางสะดวกด้วยระบบขนส่งสาธารณะจึงเป็นเรื่องสำคัญ เมืองอย่าง Auckland นับว่าเป็นตัวเลือกที่ดี เพราะเป็นเมืองใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศ มีระบบขนส่งที่เข้าถึงง่าย รวมถึงมีชุมชนคนไทยจำนวนมาก ทำให้ไม่รู้สึกเหงาและมีโอกาสหางานพาร์ทไทม์ได้ง่ายขึ้น ส่วน Wellington เมืองหลวงที่ขึ้นชื่อเรื่องบรรยากาศคาเฟ่และศิลปะ เหมาะกับคนชอบไลฟ์สไตล์ชิลๆ และกิจกรรมในเมือง แต่ต้องเตรียมตัวรับมือกับลมแรงที่นี่ด้วย ถ้าคุณชื่นชอบธรรมชาติและกิจกรรมกลางแจ้ง Christchurch และ Queenstown คือเมืองที่ตอบโจทย์ เพราะเต็มไปด้วยวิวสวยงามและกิจกรรม Adventure แต่ค่าใช้จ่ายใน Queenstown ค่อนข้างสูง จึงต้องพิจารณาเรื่องงบประมาณด้วย จากประสบการณ์จริง การเลือกเมืองเรียนที่ตอบโจทย์ทั้งเรื่องคุณภาพชีวิต การเดินทาง และโอกาสหางานพาร์ทไทม์ เป็นกุญแจสำคัญที่ทำให้ช่วงเวลาที่นิวซีแลนด์มีความสุขและประสบความสำเร็จมากขึ้น สุดท้ายนี้ ถ้าคุณกำลังวางแผนจะไปเรียนภาษา หรือ Work & Holiday ที่นิวซีแลนด์ อย่าลืมสำรวจข้อมูลแต่ละเมืองอย่างละเอียด และเลือกเมืองที่เหมาะกับไลฟ์สไตล์และเป้าหมายของตัวเอง นั่นจะช่วยให้ทุกอย่างราบรื่นและสนุกมากขึ้นแน่นอนค่ะ
