Read and seep. Read and cry. Break with this book.
I happened to find it at the library, so I picked up a lot of fun reading. It's not the kind of investigation that I normally read, but it's full of the pinnacle of uncomfortable emotions, tormented along with the young girl in the story. This story will gradually tell the daily life of the protagonist Akiko in a diary form, and alternately tell the background of other characters that we don't know how to relate to each other. But at the end, we'll start to see the connections and reasons for each person's actions, both those who are pure bad, those who struggle to survive, and those who live to atone for their crimes, reflecting domestic, school, and social violence.
The story is quite plummeting. Anyone who reads and accidentally sinks into the feelings of the characters. Want to take a break and read it a little bit at a time to save their own mind.
I'm not sure if I wrote the trigger warning and will spoil it, but I'll know first.
Trigger warnings: domestic violence, school bullying, sexual abuse, murder, loss
🔎 broken.
