Celebrating Festival

Hey everyone! Just had to share my amazing experience with Festivale in Animal Crossing: New Horizons! If you haven't experienced this vibrant event yet, you're definitely missing out on some serious fun. It's truly one of the most colorful and lively celebrations on my island, transforming everything into a spectacular carnival. Festivale is one of the most anticipated events, hosted by the fabulous peacock, Pave! He arrives on your island, ready to dance and spread joy. The whole island buzzes with energy, especially at night, with dazzling decorations and a festive atmosphere. I absolutely love seeing the peacock-themed festival float he brings – it really sets the mood and makes the plaza feel like a true party zone! Before Pave even arrives, I always make sure to stock up on some festive clothing and decorate my island with all sorts of colorful items. Nook's Cranny usually sells special Festivale furniture in the days leading up to the event, so keep an eye out! Wearing a bright, feathered outfit really gets you into the spirit of dancing with Pave and your villagers. The main goal of Festivale is to collect different colored feathers that float around your island. You'll find red, blue, green, and purple feathers, but the rarest and most sought-after is the rainbow feather! I usually run around with my net, catching as many as I can. You can also get feathers by talking to your villagers, who are often dancing and celebrating. They might ask you for a certain color in exchange for another, or even give you a rainbow feather if you're lucky! The constant sound of the drum beating in the background just makes you want to dance along with everyone. Once you have enough feathers, head over to Pave in your plaza. He'll trade you for gorgeous Festivale-themed items, which are perfect for decorating your home and island. For example, three of the same colored feathers will get you a specific Festivale item. But the real prize? Crafting the Rainbow Festivale items! For these, you'll either need one of each colored feather, or simply a special rainbow feather. These items are truly spectacular, especially when they're all lit up at night, adding an extra spark to the celebration. My pro tip for Festivale is to dedicate a good chunk of time to feather hunting. They respawn frequently, so keep moving around your island! Also, don't forget to visit your villagers – they have some of the best dance moves and can be quite generous with feathers. And of course, just enjoy the music and the dancing! It's such a joyful event that brings so much life and color to Animal Crossing. Festivale is hands down one of my favorite events because of its vibrant energy and the beautiful items you can get. It's a fantastic way to bring more color and excitement to your island, and seeing all my villagers dressed up and dancing alongside Pave always brings a huge smile to my face. Definitely mark your calendars for this one! While Festivale is a huge highlight, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has so many other fun festivals throughout the year, like the Cherry Blossom season in spring, the spooky Halloween night, or the dazzling fireworks shows in summer. Each event brings unique activities and items, making island life always exciting and full of surprises!
