What I love about this recipe is its flexibility; you can customize it by including any veggies you like or have on hand. I often add a bit of cheese on top for a golden, bubbly finish. Cooking the dish until it’s warm throughout and slightly crisp on the edges gives it that comforting, home-cooked feel. It’s an ideal dinner idea for busy weeknights or when you want something hearty yet simple. For anyone else in a small town, don’t be discouraged by missing specialty ingredients.
